By enrolling a student in our classes, workshops, or events, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.
Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and are only confirmed once full payment (or a deposit, where applicable) has been received.
All students must complete a registration form prior to attending their first session.
2. Payments
Fees must be paid in full prior to the start of each term or block of sessions, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may result in the student’s place being released.
Fees are non-transferable between students or terms.
Fees cover 42 teaching weeks, with payments evenly spread over 12 months (Christmas, Easter & Summer holidays excluded)
3. Trial Bookings
Trial sessions may be offered for new students at a reduced or set rate.
If a student chooses not to continue after the first trial session, the trial fee is non-refundable.
If the trial includes two sessions, and the student decides not to attend the second session, no refund will be issued for the unused class.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
A minimum of one month’s written notice is required to cancel a booking or withdraw a student from classes.
If notice is given less than one month before the next payment due date, the following month’s fees will remain payable in full.
Refunds will not be issued for missed sessions, illness, holidays, or late attendance.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a class (e.g. due to instructor illness or unforeseen circumstances), an alternative session or credit will be offered.
5. Attendance and Conduct
Regular attendance is encouraged to ensure progress and group cohesion.
Students are expected to behave respectfully toward staff and peers at all times.
The company reserves the right to refuse participation or remove a student whose behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.
6. Photography and Media
From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken for promotional or educational purposes.
Permission for this is requested on the registration form. Parents or guardians can opt out at any time by contacting us in writing.
7. Health and Safety
Parents/guardians must inform us of any relevant medical or learning needs upon registration.
Our staff will take reasonable care to ensure each student’s safety during classes and performances.
The company cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings.
8. Communication
All official notices, including cancellations and withdrawals, must be sent via email to nikki@theactingstudio.org.uk.
Updates and class information will be communicated through email or your parent portal.
9. Changes to Classes
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to timetables, venues, or instructors if necessary.
Any major changes will be communicated as early as possible.
